Planning is one thing – execution another. This page explains how your cleaning staff can work more efficiently using the Pythagoras Cleaning app. Once planners or coordinators have completed the planning, cost estimation, and scheduling in the Pythagoras property management system, the conditions are set for the cleaning staff to do a great job with the help of the app. Floor plans from the buildings’ digital twins are included in the app and guide the work on site. You get access to:
- Improved quality of completed cleaning tasks
- Information to improve your planning based on actual time spent
- Increased control through transparency

Intuitive interface
The cleaning staff logs in to the app and gets immediate access to their individual schedule. With the help of digital models, they clearly see which areas need to be cleaned, when, and how. Color-coded headings and clear instructions make it easy to follow the tasks, regardless of language skills.
Reporting back
The app enables your cleaning staff to report deviations directly on site, using photos, comments, and time stamps. This could include situations like an ongoing meeting that prevents cleaning in a room, extra work such as a full sink, or any interrupted tasks.
If something is broken, the cleaner can also report it as a fault, and the property department will receive it through the case management function in the property management system.

Quality check
After the work is completed, quality managers can carry out follow-ups using Pythagoras GO Inspections. Simple checks, checklists, and statistics help to ensure that the cleaning services meet the agreed quality standards. The results are displayed in the property management system, enabling collaborative planning of actions with the client.

Q&A on cleaning execution in Pythagoras
How does the cleaning staff get to know what needs to be done in each area?
The cleaning staff receives a schedule through the mobile app, which is linked to the digital cleaning plan.
Using floor plans, color codes, and clear instructions, the app shows exactly what needs to be done in each room, including cleaning frequency, method, and required equipment.
What happens if a room cannot be cleaned as planned?
If a space cannot be cleaned (for example, because it is occupied), the cleaning staff can easily register a deviation directly in the app. They can add a photo, comment, and location, providing clear and traceable communication to the responsible parties.
Can you follow up to ensure that the cleaning has actually been carried out?
Yes. The system enables both direct reporting of completed work and follow-up inspections.
Quality managers can follow up both visually and through statistics, making it easy to identify areas for improvement and ensure that the service is delivered as agreed.
